He was born in the Serengeti area and grew up around Ngorongoro, Engare Sero, Lake Natron and the slopes of Ol Doinyo Lengai. His relationship with this land goes beyond tourism: it is part of his family history and Maasai community.

Local knowledge of northern Tanzania

Rokoine has particularly deep knowledge of Engare Sero, Lake Natron, Ngorongoro and Ol Doinyo Lengai, as well as the main parks of the northern circuit. This experience helps him design realistic routes, calculate genuine travel times and adapt each day to the season, road conditions and pace of the group.

He has guided international travellers for many years and organises private safaris, cultural visits and mountain routes. Rather than offering everyone the same programme, he plans each itinerary around the dates, time available, budget and interests of the traveller.

How we work

Direct communication: we speak with you before the trip to understand what you expect from Tanzania.

Realistic itineraries: we avoid adding parks if that would mean spending too many hours on the road.

Local experience: safari areas are selected according to the season and the best available information about wildlife and access.

Respect: we keep a responsible distance from animals and arrange cultural encounters with permission, without turning daily life into a performance.

Specialist areas

Experiences can include a Serengeti safari, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Natron and the demanding Ol Doinyo Lengai climb.
